“SMELLY”
Remarkable cures have . recently been effected by what is called “occupational therapy.” The patient is given a simple and congenial task, such as weaving or wood-carving. His success in performing' this gradually restores his self-confidence and enables him to return to ordinary life. One of the oldest eases is that ol a man who has a delusion that he has an offensive .smell which causes people to avoid him. He is being cured by being obliged to play the violin.
