VISIT OF SIR MAURICE HANKEY (British Official Wireless) (Received 14th November, 11.5 a.m.) RUGBY, 13th November. Answering a Parliamentary question the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Ramsay MacDonald, said that the visit to South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand of Sir Maurice Hankey. Secretary to the Imperial Cabinet and Secretary of the Committee of Imperial Defence, had no political object. He would be visiting Australia as the guest of the Commonwealth Government for tlie Victoria Centenary and had been invited by the Governor of New Zealand to visit the Dominion.
