AUSTRALIAN BUTTER

MEETING BRITISH DEMAND SERVICE TO OUTPORTS (United Press Association—Br Electric Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY. 27th September. The Australian Dairy Produce Export Board has decided to regulate shipments of Australian butter to the United Kingdom similar to last year, beginning early in November, and also to arrange a regular steamer service to the outports of Britain in order to meet a growing demand for Australian butter. A special organiser is being appointed to carry out this phase of marketing. Tlie Board deprecated the marketing of low grade butter here or abroad.

Details of the new regulation controlling f.o.b. sales adopted by the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board were discussed and will he further considered when more details are received from the Dominion .
