RIFLE SHOOTING
WAIMEA CLUB The first shoot-of the first series was fired on Saturday last. J. Maisey was top for the day with 93 off the rifle and takes the second class Feathers. S. Wells defeated Tomlinson for the first class Feathers. The Robertson Shield teams were selected and will be as follows: —S. Wells (coach), J. Maisey, E. Bloomfield; F. Robertson (coach), R. Robertson, H. Evans; R. Hammond (coach), A. Tomlinson, G. Ford; A. C. Maisey (coach), I. Brown, H. J. Campbell. The second match will be at SCO yards on the 22nd September.
