SEDDON SHIELD DISTRICTS’ TOURNAMENT VISITORS ARRIVE TO-DAY The Seddon Shield Districts’ Primary Schools’ Rugby.tournament will commence at Trafalgar Park tomorrow afternoon. The teams from the AVest Coast, Buller, Marlborough and Golden Bay-Mo tueka Unions will arrive in Nelson this afternoon between 4.30 p.m. and 5 p.m. and the boys will go to billets which will be arranged at Newman Bros, garage as the ears arrive. To-morrow afternoon at 2.45 p.m. a welcome will he extended to the young visitors at Trafalgar Park by the Mayor (Mr W. J. Moffatt) and Rugby Union, after which the first games will be played. The programme for to-morrow .is as follows: Weigh in at Pai'k at 2.15 p.m. Official welcome at 2.45 at Park. 3 p.m. Buller v Marlborough, No 1 Ground, referee, Mr E. McGregor. Nelson v. Golden Bay-Motueka, No 2 Ground, referee, Mr J. Lucre. West Coast a bye. The rules provide that hoys in the teams shall not be more than 16 years of age, Bst 71bs in weight and shall not have gained a Proficiency Certificate.
