WOMAN EXECUTED
FIRST IN NEW YORK SINCE 192 S (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, 9th August. The first woman to he executed in the State of New York since 12th —January, 1928, was Anna Antonio, the mother of three children, who with two accomplices whom she hired to kill her husband in order to obtain 5300 dollars life insurance, was electrocuted. The case aroused wide attention.
