ARCHBISHOP JULIUS
ANNIVERSARY OF CONSECRATION (By Telograph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Forty-four years ago to-day Archbishop Juiius, formerly Bishop or Cln-istchurch and Primate of New Zealand was consecrated in Christchurch Cathedral. He came to New Zealand as Archdeacon of Ballarat, having been born and educated ; a England. His consecration, which was held oil the morning of Thursday, Ist May, was one of the grandest ecclesiastical ceremonies witnessed up to then in New Zealand.
