SCHOOL OF FORESTRY
TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY DECISION OF COLLEGE COUNCIL [By Telegraph—Press Association] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The School of Forestry at Canterbury 1 College will be closed temporarily as from the end of the present year according to the decision of the Canterbury University College Council at its meeting. Members suggested that a dccision should be deferred for three months, as in the meantime pressure might be brought to bear through public opinion, but an amendment to this effect was defeated
