SICK APPRENTICE
ON FINNISH BARQUE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The patient who was taken aboard the Monowai from th e Finnish barque Fa veil is Lauri Aatos, aged 23 years, a young apprentice of Helsingfors. Dr Burd, of the. Monowai, kept him under close observation after treatment and finally after consultation with Dvs. Allen and Holmes, passengers in the Monowai, decided that it would be safe to bring him to hospital at Wellington for aii operation.
