CHARGE OF DRUNKENNESS EXPLANATION BY COUNSEL (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 20th April. Vice-Admiral Gordon Campbell M.P. pleaded guilty and was lined 10s (id costs in the- Westminster Court on a charge of.being incapably drunk. The police gave evidence that Campbell was found lying on the pavement at Knightsbridge early in the- morning. Campbell's solicitor said his client had a sudden heart attack for which he had taken stimulants. Campbell defeated Mr Henderson in 1931.
