KICKED BY HORSE

PAINFUL ACCIDENT AT APPLEBY (From Our Own Correspondent) On Saturday morning a thirteen-year-old lad named Lyell Wells, son of Mr A. V. Wells of Appleby, met with;a painful accident. He went out to catch a horse and as he. approached the animal it lashed out kicking him in the taco with one* of its hoofs. The hoy who was rendered momentarily unconscious sustained a broken nose and other facial injuries which bled profusely. He was attended by Dr. Currie and is progressing as well as can he expected.
