WEEK-END RAIN
BRIGHTER FEED PROSPECTS RAPID GROWTH PROMOTED (From Our Own Correspondent) After several days of drizzling weather heavy rain set in on Saturday evening and continued intermittently lor several hours .88 inch being recorded at the Appleby School. With, the mild conditions prevailing vigourous growth is everywhere apparent, and if the wcathei remains warm for a few weeks conditions for the winter will he more favourable than was generally expected.
