ROYAL VISIT TO ALDERSHOT

DISPLAY OP PHYSICAL TRAINING INSPECTION OF GRENADIER GUARDS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 19th April. The King and Queen visited Aidershot and toured the camp. They saw an impressive display of physical training, and then drove through cheering line’s of soldiers to the Guards’ parade ground, where the King inspected his own personal company of Grenadier Guards. This •company is reputed to be the tallest in the British Army, the average height of the men being 6 feet 3 inches. Their Majesties were later greatly interested in' a riding display by three cavalry regiments.
