The following wore the concluding results on the first day of the Whangarei Racing Club's Meeting:— Northland Hack Handicap, ol £75; one and a half miles and 197 yards. — 6-6 Cargen, 9.0, 1; 1-1 Diversion, 9.13, 2; 5-4 Golden Wedding, 9.6, 3. Scratchmi: Blue Bonnet. Won by a length each way. Time, 2.59 1-5. Stewards’ Handicap, of £95; six furlongs. —3-3 British Columbia, 9.0, 1; 11 Hushing, 7.5, 2; 4-6 Arch Ruler, 8.2, 3. Also started: Hampton Park, Sinking Fund, Psychologist. Won hy a length and a half, a nose. Time, 1.14. Settlers’ Handicap, of £6O; seven fur-longs.—2-3 Monanui, 10.0, 1; 1-1 Horelle, 7.12, 2; 3-2 Bush Lawyer, 7.0, 3. Also started : Titanette, Blue Grey, Star Turn, Perimint. Won by half a length, two and a half lengths. Time, 1.30 4-5.

Scratched: Colonna, Parnell. Won by a neck, a length and a half. Waitangi Hack Handicap, of £75; one mile.—3 Adult, 8.3, 1; 2 Star Raider, 8.3, 2; 4 Pink Paper, 8.13, 3. Scratched : Gold Knight. Won by a neck, one and a half length. Time, 1.45 1-5. Roi l’Or paced a mile in 2.13 easily accompanied by a galloper. The track was very greasy. President's Handicap, of £80; six furlongs.—l Ilurlingham, 9.0, 1; 2AI Jolson, 7.9, 2; 3 Rin Tin Tin, 7.9, 3. Also started: Lord Argosy. Won by a length, one and a half lengths. Time, 1.15.
