COMBINED FRIENDLY SOCIETIES
A meeting of the Combined Friendly Societies’ Social Committee was held on I hursday last,, and it was unanimously decided to hold a carnival dance on 24tii May. Arrangements are well in hand, and special dances such as Monte Carlo, balloon dance, and novelty dances will, be included ’.n the programme. It was ! also decided to obtain a supple of bal- J oons, streamers and confetti. Further i business included the making of arrange-1 ments for the third annual ball to be held in July. j
