NOT ALLOWED TO LAND
TREBITCH LINCOLN IN CANADA (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11th April, 1.10 p.m.) VANCOUVER, 10th April. Trebitch Lincoln lias been refused permission to land, lie will appeal to the Ottawa Immigration Department which announces that the case is under consideration. It is reported that the Government is awaiting word from London whether he will be allowed to land there.
A Victoria (8.C.) message dated 7th hist, stated: —Trebitch Lincoln, the former member of the British House of Commons, and a notorious spy in the Great War, is arriving on Monday as a Buddhist abbot with six nuns on the way to establish a Buddhist temple in Germany. As Lincoln plans a lecture tour of Canada, the immigration authorities are considering his status.
