(Received 10th April, 1.25 p.m.) . CAPETOWN, 9th April. The Premier stated that the Assembly did not consider it necessary to consult the Commonwealth Government regarding the Status Bill, as it might be interpreted as the subordinating of sovereign right? to the wishes of other members of the Commonwealth, and would rightly be considered unconstitutional.
