GRAFT IN ENGLAND
MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES WARNED BY MINISTRY OF HEALTH (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright,) (Received 9lh April, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, Bth April. Tile “Despatch” says that “Stamp out graft,” is the warning the Ministry of Health has sent to the municipal authorities throughout Britain following an investigation into councillors’ alleged acceptance of presents, not always money, from contractors. It was also discovered that councillors were giving highlypaid jobs to relatives.
