In a useful act of mutual propaganda Mr Sandford, on behalf of the New Zealand Dairy Board, presented each of 5,000 employees at the Vauxhftll Bedford motor works with a halfpound packet of butter. Mr Sandford emphasised that the more British workmen used Dominion butter the more British cars and trucks dairymen would be able to buy.
