CAUSES OF IMPROVEMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, 20th December. Mr Ihu'tmui Hooves, president of the Dunedin Stock Exchange, in ids annual address said that the improvement in the share market throughout the Dominion was a result of the reduced rates of interest on Government and municipal securities and bank-fixed deposits, combined with the improved prices ruling in London for meat and wool. Jt was not attributable to the forced and unnatural raising of the exchange rate New Healaiul on London as certain interests had claimed.
