Private advice has been received that the first prize of £6OOO in Tattersall’s consultation drawn at Hobart under Government supervision, was won by “Probationer,” care of “R.M.,”* York Place, Dunedin, with the ticket number 22,339. IDENTITY OF WINNER DUNEDIN, This Day. The winner of the £6OOO in the Tatter sail consultation announced in the Auckland message is Miss Rae McGregor, a young woman, who for seven years has been manageress of Ernest Adams’ cake shop in Princess street. This was only her second investment in Tattersalls. She took the name Probationer because she had won on that horse at the last Dunedin Meeting. She will continue in business.
