GOOD TEMPLARS
NELSON AND TAHUNA The Hope of Nelson Temple, held its weekly session in the 'Rochahite. Hall presided over by Bro. O. Mitchell, and superintended by Sis. J. Mitchell. Quite a number of the adult lodge and parents were present. After the ordinary business seven new members were initialed. The programme for (lie evening was arranged for junior and senior members. A bottle competition was won by: Senior. Sis. ,T. Nesbit, and a junior, by Bro. 11. Gear. A hook competition was won by Bro. 0. Miteliell : a balloon competition by Sister ,T. Fuller; a word-building competition by Bro. Keith Russell and Sis. Joan Wcstrupp; a Kim’s game hv Sis. J. Fuller. Sister J. Fuller seemed the prize for the winner of most competitions. Supper was handed round by tbc ladies, after which Christmas greetings were exchanged amongst members. The Temple then dosed til! 3rd February.
The Hope of Tiilmna Temple met in I lie Town Hull, presided over by Sts. V. Cussen and sunoiiiitended by Bro. R. Watson assisted by Bro T. Somerville. This meeting took the form of a dosing social for the year. Competitions: were played and won hv Sisters Turner. llingslnn. and Pro Watson. Pro. Watson gave an interesting talk after which lollies and ice creams were handed round and tlio superintendents wished all a very happy Christmas and trusted all would he hack again at the opening social on 121 li January. The item for the evening at this social would he holiday experiences, followed Kv a treasure limit and refreshments.
