Tn the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, Queensland in the first innings made 242 (Cook 32, Levy 47, Oxenham not out 33, Leeson 34). FleetwoodSmitli took three for 63, Ironmonger three for 65. Alevander two for 42, Eliding two for 55. Victoria in the second Tost four for 155 (Ponsford not out 54, Bromlev 57, Darling 33). Queensland won on the first innings by 38 runs. LARWOOD’S EXCELLENT RECOVERY LONDON, 19ili December. The “Daily Express” says that friends of Larwood declare he is making an excellent recovery and will bowl faster than ever next season.
