AGAIN BEFORE CABINET FRENCH AND GERMAN VIEWS (British Official Wire'eaai RUGBY, 19th December. The disarmament question was again before the committee of Cabinet. Sir Eric Phipps was in attendance, his visit to London following that of Lord Tyrrell, and put Ministers in possession of the views of the French and German Governments. Ministers serving on the Cabinet committee include the Prime Minister and Mr Baldwin, Sir John Simon, Mr Neville Chamberlain. Mr J. 11. Thomas, Sir Bolton Eyres-Monsell, Lord Hailsham, and the Marquess of Londonderry. Sir John Simon leaves London for France and Italy on Thursday after the House of Commons adjourns the Christmas recess.
