MARI.ROHOUGH'S CHALLENGE
MATCH COMMENCES TO-MORROW
The first, challenge match of the season for the Hawke Oup will commence at Trafalgar Park to-morrow when Nelson (holders) will meet Marlborough. D. Morgan will not he available for Nelson, and his place has not yet been filled.
Several changes have been made in the Marlborough team since it was originally chosen, and the eleven to take part in tlie challenge will now be: M. Neal, A. Neal, H. Moore, W. Hastilow, Drake, G. Stevenson, Hill, Mcßeth, Creswell, O’Sullivan, and Auty. Tlie Nelson team will be: 11. M. McGirr, V. Riggs (Athletic); A. Jones, C. A. Kinzett, S. Stewart, T. A. Searell (Wakatu); D. L. Freeman (College); J. Newman, A. Newman, E. R-. Neale (Old Boys) and one yet to bo selected. Much interest is .being taken in the fixture, and rood attendances are expected to witness the play. The wicket is in splendid order and the outfield is fast, and so some good scoring performances should result. School children will be admitted free.
The, hours of play will he 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., and the match has a three day limit.
It was announced tliis afternoon by the sole selector, Mr E. R,. Neale, tha't R. Raife would replace Morgan in the Nelson teain.
