RECENT SETBACKS MINISTER TO MEET GROWERS Following on representations to the Hon. the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. C. E. Macmillan) made immediately after the recent disastrous frost, Messrs Atmore and Holyoake, M’,s.P. have asked tlie Minister to visit Nelson and Motueka districts so that fruitgrowers could get in toucli with him, and he informed the members yesterday that lie would be pleased to leave for Nelson on Friday evening. He will meet Nelson growers on Saturday morning or afternoon and Motueka district growers in the evening. All matters associated with the fruit industry can be then discussed.
