The track is hard and fast and there is a good attendance. Results : Waituna Hurdles, of 100 sovs; one mile and a half and 130 yards. —4-4 Air Laddie, 9.6, 1; 1-1 Ruanui, 9.9, 2; 5-6 March. Alone, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Adventus, Tudor, Willowmere, Cotsfield. Won by a neck, half a head. Time, 2.56 3-5.
Aorangi Trial Plate, of 80 sovs; six furlongs.—l-1 Cortega, 1; 9-4 Maypay, 2; 2-2 Wyndale, 3. Scratched : Grand Joy, Lacktown, Spearshot, Sunny Maid. Won by three lengths, one length. Time, 1.15 1-5. Feilding Cup of 200 sovs; one mile and a-quarter.—2-2 Plateau, .8.2, 1; 3-3 Fairway, 7.13, 2; 1-1 Aga Khan, 8 3, 3. Scratched: Chopin, Korokio, Gibraltar. Won by half a head each way. Time, 2.6 3-5.
Twenty-Eighth Feilding Stakes, of 125 sovs; weight for age; five furlongs. 2 Pomp, 9.1, 1; 1 Souchong, 9.2, 2; 3 Inflation, 9.6, 3. All started. Won by half a head, four lengths. Time, 1.1.
