Figures for the overseas trade of New Zealand for the month of July, 1933, show exports valued at £3,376,705 and imports valued at £1,438,907. lor the corresponding period last year the figures were £2,405,976 and £1,832,337 respectively. For the period of seven months ended July, 1933, exports were £27,035,100 and imports £11,896,100, balance in terms of New Zealand currency (excluding specie) £12,091,000. For the same period of 1932 the figures were £24,584,497 and £12,998,160 respectively, the balance in terms of New Zealand currency (excluding specie) being £9,590,000. Values recorded for exports are declared f.o.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency, while values recorded for imports are current domestic values in the countries of export plus 10 per cent.
