BRITISH SHAREHOLDINGS SUGGESTED DISTRIBUTION AMONGST DOMINIONS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 25th May, 10.55 a.m.) LONDON, 24th May. In the House of Commons Mr Whyte asked would the Government consider the suggestion that part of Britain’s shareholdings in the Suez Canal be distributed amongst -the dominions to ensure more effective representation on the Board ?
Mr Baldwin replied that it was not practicable. There were at present three British official directors in addition to seven unofficial.
