RUMANIAN OIL
FOR AUSTRALIA RECIPROCAL TRADE (United Preßß Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 25th Mav, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON. 24th May. A statement issued on behalf of the London office of Rumanian interests claims that an agreement has been concluded between “powerful commercial groups,” in Australia and Rumania with the object of developing reciprocal trade, Australia taking Rumanian petrol and oil in return for wool and other products. The first two shipments, totalling 5,000,090 gallons, will shortly leave C'onstanza.
