Specialist officers in future will lie required lo take a share in deck dut - ies. Tentative plans have been drafted giving all young officers anid seasmen a course in training in small ships such as destroyers, before sending them to •ho battle fleet. It is believed that tins will raise the navy’s, standard of seamanship.
