ECONOMIC TRUCE

The League Council approved of Sir John Simon’s resolution in favour of an economic truce. The Council considers that the adherence of every possible Government thereto is necessary to enable the Economic Conference work to proceed. Tiie Council also adopted the Wheat Committee’s report stressing the necessity for the limitation of the production of exports as a temporary measure.
