POLAR EXPLORATION
MEMORIAL TRUST FUND LONDON. 4 tli December. Tim associates of the late Mr H. G. Watkins, leader of the British Arctic expedition, who was drowned out of a, kayak (canoe) in Lake Fjord, Greenland. in August, have inaugurated a memorial trust funds to assist young explorers. The proceeds will be given yearly to those best able to perform Polar exploration. A sum of £3OO is already subscribed by Mr Watkins' comrades in tile recent expedition.
