(By Telegraph—Press Association)

Land settlement was important, and he suggested the development of the land by means of fertilisers purchased by farmers on long-term credit, lie urged the construction of roads and Government encouragement and assistance of all industries, with reduction of rents and taxes, the establishment og a State bank, and the reorganisation of the banking system and the credit resources. Ho was accorded a vote of thanks.
