REVOLT IN CHILE
STUDENTS’ MOVEMENT QUICKLY QUELLED

SANTIAGO, 12th August. Two army regiments and police conquered four hundred students in’a battle at the University of Chile and quelled a revolt aimed at the Government. Several were killed, and all but fifty captured.
