KEEN SHOOTING

A competition was hold last Thursday at (lie Miniature Rifle Range for prizes given by Mr C. IT. Marsh, patron of the Association. A keen contest »tuuk place between 33 members. Good shooting was done by some of the juniors. The following are l the scores of those who reached the handicap standard of 99 points.

In Ihb shoot-off the winners were:— Seniors—ll. Day (“K” Club) and B.

!’>. Jones (Port Club). Juniors —N. Manssen (Wood Club) and M. Gaffney (Port Club). A match was tired for the Grizzler Cup beiween the Port and the Wood Clubs. It was a very even match, the Port Club winning bv one point only. The teams and scores were as follows: Port Club—W. Martyn 93, M. Gaffney 96, lb McConchio 9! A. Ainsley 96, F. SluuTand 96, A. Hill 93, N. Jones 93, 15. Jones 99, 1. Patterson 93, L. Gore 94 ; total 944.
