SCARCITY OF ONIONS
HIGH PRICE IN SYDNEY (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copy rigm.) SYDNEY, 15th June. As the result of a short,ago of onions in Victoria and the high price for New Zealand, Sydney dealers are inquiring elsewhere for supplies. A shipment from Japan in the near future is expected. The landed cost of these, including duties and exchange ,will be equivalent to £22 per ton. Agents are pow rescreening unsold stocks from New Zealand and are getting £22 for picked lots.
