SOMERSET AND PORT HOBART CONSIGNMENTS

The Somerset’s and Port Hobart’s New Zealand apples realised—Jonathans Delicious, Cleopatras 11s, 14; Scarlets, 11s. 12s; Sturmers 10s, 11s Gd. Now Zealand pears, bundles Winter Nelis l.'ls, 15s; trays. Cornice, 7s, 10s; half cases, Winter Coles Gs.
(The Port Hobart was. the only steamer to load apples at Nelson this season for direct shipment to England. The prices realised indicate that the fruit arrived in good condition. The quantity of fruit loaded at Nelson was in the virility of 50,003 cases.)
