NELSON LADIES’ CLUB

L.G.U. MEDAL AND ENCOUNTER SHIELD

Yesterday afternoon the Nelson Ladies’ Golf Club played the third round of the L.G.U. Medal and Encounter Shield. Tho standard of play was not up to that shown in the second round of tho competition. Mrs Baigcnt put in the best card with a net round of 73. Tho best cards were :

FOUR BALL BOGEY Next Friday a four-ball bogey handicap for a trophy presented by Mrs Milner will bo played. Partners and opponents will bo drawn.
