ALLEGED THEFT

Arthur Wallace Richardson, middle-aged, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of theft as a servant of £92 Is 2d, the property of the City Council. It is alleged that a sum which was received over the counter on 23rd April was not lodged to the credit of the district fund in the bank. Accused was allowed bail on a bond of £IOO, with a surety of a similar amount.
