VIENNA, Ist, February. An altempt to wreck the Ostoml-Vi-enna express was discovered in the nick id' time to save tins train, carrying hundreds of passengers, from plunging over a sleep embankment in a Vienna forest. The driver lucidly sighted the obstruction when travailing at 70 miles per hour and pulled up on the brink of disaster. The engine was derailed but nobody was hurt.
