TRAINS HELD UP IN SCOTLAND (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, Ist February. Fierce snowstorms are sweeping Britain, except the south-east of England. Some trains in Scotland were snowbound for a day. ’Motorists were obliged to leave their cars in snowdrifts and seek shelter afoot.
