CONSERVATIVES RESIGNING
“EMPIRE FREE TRADERS”
LONDON, 31st May. The “Daily Chronicle’s” and “Daily Herald’s” political writers affirm that several Conservative members of the House of Commons are resigning their seats for the purpose of reconstructing them as Empire free traders, challenging Mr Baldwin’s leadership.
