NEWCASTLE COAL
REDUCTION IN PRICES

SYDNEY. Ist June.
The chairman of the Northern Collieries Association announced that the reduction in prices of coal would be: Interstate and New Zealand, 3s 3d ton; foreign trade 4s 3d. The settlement of the coal deadlock has load to the recommissioning of upwards of fifteen steamers.
