GALE AT AUCKLAND
SMALL CRAFT DRIVEN ASHORE (By Telegraph—Preßa Association) AUCKLAND, 28th May. The schooner-yacht Vision, which was driven ashore in the gale yesterday, was t refloated later by means of a laundh. A number of other small craft were also driven ashore. '
A large tree was blown down in the Domain, wrecking a car parked beneath it. The owner was inside the Pon/am Kiosk, having lunch.
