Frank McDonald, the only occupant, barely had time to escape and snatch a few clothes.. , Mr McDonald's wife rev cently died while he was on a holiday in Christchurch, and after his holiday his. health broke down, and lie only resumed preaching last Sunday. He lost everything, including a large and valuable, collection of books and furniture, which" was all new. The insurance is unavailable. ■ , ~ •-
