NATIONAL DEFENCE

OFFICERS' CLUB RESOLUTION S

(By Telegraph—Press Association)

DUNEDIN, This Day.

At a mooting of the Otago Officers' Club at which public body representatives were present, it was resolved: "That this meeting views with grave concern the situation in regard to national defence as reported in the press and urges upon the Prime Minister the danger of disruptive action and the necessity of full investigation and consideration before taking action. In its opinion nothing short of a Royal "Commission, including experts from England, is competent to investigate and report."
