Differences of opinion in the Labour Party regarding the methods of dealing with unemployment arc reported to be causing concern to,/r.iends.who declare that Mr of treachery in the party, supplemented by intrigues in the inn,<*r circle of Ministers. They state thatJlfe .Thomas is ready to resign as a protest against the action that has beCQ'jtaken. Some even state that the resignation has already been tendered.
There, is, also a curious persistency in the li'iimonr'connecting Mr Thonias's name with the Governor-Generalship of Australia despite denials.
