WOMEN'S FRANCHISE
SOUTH AFRICAN BILL (United Press Association—By Electrio Teieg.-a.ph—Copy rithtj CAPETOWN, 24th March. General Hertzog's Women's Franchise Bill was read a second time in the Assembly by 73 votes to 31. It grants the franchise to all European adult women in South Africa. The measure is likely to encounter strong opposition in Committee.
