DISASTER IN JAPAN

TOKIO, llth March

A cinema conflagration at Chiukai military Jiall during the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the battle of Mukden resulted "in 104 persons, mostly students, being burned. UNSUITABLE BUILDING (Received 12th March, 9.35 a.in.) TOKIO, 11th March. A gasoline explosion caused the C'hinkai cinema fire. The building was unsuited for a public performance and the sole exit was blocked. Except for two adults the victims were all young school children. The authorities are courtmartialling those responsible.
